NYE Outfit Guide

NYE Outfit Guide

Hello fabulous! It's almost time to scream out that countdown and kick 2019 into high gear....but, wait one last thing...ending the year with a bang, outfit-wise.

I've put together my top three looks for NYE, I hope that at least one of these outfits will catch your eye or give you the inspiration you need for your perfect NYE 'fit.

Studio54 Darling...I love themed parties, I mean I really REALLY L O V E themed parties.  This year my bombshell Russian bestie Tatiana, is taking the reins and planning a groovy 'Studio54' themed NYE party - just my cup of champagne darling!  My outfit for this year will be themed along the lines of gold, bold hues of color and simple jewelry.  Even if you are not attending a themed party, you can never go wrong with gold for New Years, it's so playful and glamorous and easy to pair with other things; jackets, jewelry and shoes...I promise you will have something in your closet to match with gold.  Since, I live in a city where ‘the unpredictable mother nature’ can strike her wand at any moment, pants are always a fab idea - be sure to keep weather in mind when dressing!

STUDIO54 DARLING || Gold Shimmer Pant Suit...

I love the 'Tabby' gold lurex jumpsuit from House of CB, well priced and beautifully made to the tiniest zipper details, well worth the money and did you know they offer fast 3 day delivery.  Bold hues work perfectly with gold, this year red is my weakness - pair a solid dramatic red clutch for a statement. Simple gold heels with a touch of sparkle are a must in any fashionistas closet, stick to gold when pairing heels with a gold jumpsuit.  The neckline of this jumpsuit screams for details and since we are already going with a bold purse and coat, simple jewelry will balance, try a long necklace or body chain and to keep with the Studio54 theme, barely there larger than life hoops. Keep your makeup classic; eyes and cheeks that is, then add a pop of spice to the lips.  I love 'Giorgio Armani Rouge d'armani' in matte. Tie everything together with a dramatic elegant red fur jacket...it will keep you warm and play up your look even more.

DRAMA QUEEN || Glitter, Sequins and Sparkle...

NYE is the perfect time to go over the top, it’s all about that glitter, sequins and sparkle.  I’m in awe of the ‘Zia’ silver & nude sequin mesh dress from House of CB – oooo and ladies this dress is on sale for $89.  The Zia dress is stunningly beautiful to stare at, yet offers a sultry illusion cut out panel, accentuating the body perfectly – vavavavoom! For this ‘fit I’m thinking larger than life, crimped hair with a crystal headband to add extra sparkle, I love Ardene or Claires for headbands; they always have so many options and they don’t break the bank – which is nice if you plan on being a tad crazy on NYE and break the darn thing (guilty).  Play up your look even more with a fun playful pop of hot pink, longline blazer to add a touch of masculinity to this very feminine outfit, bright lips and cheeks.  Since the outfit is very ‘POW’, be sure to keep your heels and remaining accessories neutral to the dress; note – keep the shades similar, small dainty earrings and barely-there silver heels.  How perfectly barbie and feminine is this!

CLASSIC BABE || Neutrals and gorgeous skin...

I do enjoy playing with color, but, I have a weak spot for neutral toned outfits, with barely there glistening accessories – my other weakness is letting my skin do the talking, finding a neutral tone that balances with my skin tone and lets it pop.  I highly recommend the ‘Luisa’ silver bustier mini dress it is made from luxurious sparkly lurex jersey, which catches the light from every direction and is very comfy, I’m kind of obsessed with the bustier style top which features boned cups – ohlala – something a little different. I feel like every woman needs a featherlight duster, I purchased mine from House of CB (in picture) but, sadly they just sold out, another brand I would recommend is Tularosa ‘Wendy Robe’, I recently purchased this for my upcoming vacation, although I haven’t worn it yet, it is so stunning to look at and shimmers beautifully, it’s also on sale – grab yours now!  In this look I would recommend adding a tiny amount of blush – keep it color toned to the rest of the outfit – nothing too crazy; think neutral pink lips and purse.  Shoes should match the dress…this is always your safest bet, when keeping your ‘fit coordinated.  Add a touch of drama with a sultry smokey eye and pin straight glossy hair….don’t forget to add shimmer body oil to your skin to finish the look, I love ‘Soliel Blanc’ by Tom Ford.

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog, I hope you find some inspiration for your NYE outfit.  Wishing you all love, happiness and health for 2019…be your best self-possible this New Year.
